My first baby steps - gettin’ on that ol’ bike

So, I began. I bought a bike. No, not a motorcycle. A bicycle. And quickly realized WHY I wasn’t quite ready for a Big Boy 125 cc powerhouse. I’ll spare you the first three days. Four days later, here is a video of me on that 24″ wheeled bike. I think you’ll be terribly impressed. Well, not with the video quality, as my skills stink. And you’ll hear a bit of allergy “feedback” from my photographer/husband (poor guy). I’m actually going to the www.schoolofpodcasting.com to learn how to do this … uh, but I haven’t really done any of the tutorials yet. So don’t blame them. They’re great.

At any rate - VT Mama, I’m on my way!

Yes, I can tell by your gasps of shock and awe that this was truly impressive. But wait, there’s more. The second crucial step toward my goal is going through an obstacle course. (This may be too terrifying a feat for the young to watch). Oh, well, the audio stinks, but if you can wait it out, I think you’ll agree with my final comment.

Don’t try this at home - professional rider course. Professional Zephyr Hills bottles (ahem: product placement).

Finally, here’s me five minutes later on my Honda Nighthawk 750 zipping around those little bottles.

Oh, alright, so it’s actually my husband. Big, woo woo deal. I’ll get there.

Get some Tennis balls and cut them in half, they make great obstacles because they won’t cause you any problems if you run over them.

    Keep practicing.
